DIESEL: Demand is the highest in the fall

While gasoline prices dropped to the lowest level in four years, diesel prices have not been falling at the same rate.
The average price of gasoline in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area last week was $2.72 a gallon, down 13 cents from last week, while the price of diesel experienced a slight drop recently to $3.51 a gallon, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic.
